Nov. 16, 2011 - The Inn's Thanksgiving package includes a gourmet Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday, Nov. 24 at Choices Restaurant, created by Chef Claude Blais, an award-winning chef and a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. Two-night packages are from $148.95/person and must include arrival either on Nov. 23 or Nov. 24. Taxes, service charge and beverages are not included. Animal Hay Sculptures Greet Guests at the Snowed Inn this Fall
Sept. 21, 2011 - Rosie the Raccoon and her babies lived at the Snowed Inn last fall and this year, the innkeepers at the hotel-style inn are crafting ideas for their 2011 hay sculpture as part of the town’s Hay Festival, on display through Oct. 10. For the fourth year in a row, owner Manfred Karlhuber and Assistant Innkeeper Jim Gasco will create a giant animal structure, made creatively from hay. This year “Eloise the Elephant” will make her debut. Snowed Inn is offering special a “Hay and Stay” Package available through Columbus Day from $110 per room per night. {more}

Snowing in Killington!
Dec. 28, 2011 - As of 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, we had received about 4 inches of new snow at the Inn and it was still coming down. Forecasters are calling for a bit of snow again on Friday and snowmakers are rejoicing (and making snow everywhere) with the return of cold temperatures. A great way to get started for 2012 a bit early! {more}
